The F440-F C-Mount Smart Camera with the latest AutoVISION user interface is a highly configurable smart camera with a 35 frame-per-second 5 megapixel monochrome global shutter sensor. The C-mount lens, external lighting options, and 5 megapixel sensor optimize the F440-F for virtually any machine vision applications.
The F440-F is pin-compatible with the MicroHAWK F430-F smart camera, ensuring a clear upgrade path with all the same wiring accessories. AutoVISION – the intuitive setup tool for the F440-F – allows you to configure highly complex applications quickly and easily.

F440 – Complete with Solution Packages for AutoID+ Applications
The F440-F comes supplied with a new suite of solution packages containing sample images, job files, instructions, installation distances and a bill of materials greatly simplifying deployment for the less experienced user.
AutoID+
Traceability is a focus for many manufacturers as they strive to reach Industry 4.0 levels of automation and efficiency, manufactures demand the highest read rates possible sometimes in the most challenging environments, The AutoID+ tool set* consists of advanced machine vision algorithms that have evolved over many years for code reading, optical code reading (OCR), optical code verification (OCV) and code quality.
*For AutoID+, an A or V license is required.
Decode Tool
The decode tool uses Omron’s patent decode algorithm X-mode to read barcodes and 2d codes on high contrast labels and the most challenging direct part marked codes.
OCR Tool
The OCR tool comes equipped with a preloaded, trainable font library and uses a multi-neural network model to allow for greater character variation that can happen in the print process, additionally multiple lines of text can be read in a single ROI (region of interest).
OCV Tool
The OCV tool detects defects measured from the character string using the reference character string. Automatically locates on the target string even if the position differs without the need for any other location tools. *Up to 15°
Symbol Verification Tool
The F440-F A and V license models come fully equipped with a symbol quality verification tool for simple print quality verification of codes to application standards such as ISO15415, AIM DPM/ISO 29158 and ISO 15416, the tool automatically generates reports.
AutoVISION: 30+ High-Level Machine Vision Tools
A License – Full AutoVISION. + Code Reading, OCR, Code Verification, OCV, String Match/Format.
V License – Full AutoVISION and Visionscape. Allows use of Front Runner with 106 standard Machine Vision tools.
